Finding your voice in the age of AI

your vision is based on you, first

I know when ChatGPT has written your social media caption. I’ve read it.

Sweeping dramatic statements.

Words that would never come out of your mouth peppered with platitudes.

Thoughts that trail off mid-sentence that leave your

(gotcha )

For now, AI tools are still average at best.

And while this won’t always be the case,

Your voice isn’t mediocre, so why are you using inferior methodology to communicate what you are here to do?

I don’t hate AI tools. In fact, I’ve run some things through Claude.Ai and other bots myself.

AI can give you great ideas and can serve as a resource to “group think” around a topic.

It can plan the perfect day in Paris and make it less touristy. (provided all the places actually exist)

It can help us understand how to support reputable organizations assisting people experiencing inhumane atrocities in global conflict. (provided we vett our sources and cross-check information)

AI is here to stay and evolve — and over the next decade, it will fake us out, dazzle us, delight us, and trick us. It will be wonderful, horrible, biased, factual, and integrated into everything we see and do.

But what it won’t ever do is BE YOU.

AI can’t be your brain. It can’t be your voice. It can’t live your vision.

More than anything, my clients come to me because they can’t see or hear themselves in the generic services list they use to talk about their companies.

They know there is SOMETHING MORE, and want to FIND THEIR VOICE.

They don’t want to sound like somebody else. They are here to spread their magic in the way that only they can.

What they discover through our working process is that articulating what is inside of them can’t be done by typing phrases into a bot, or by working with an agency that has them fill out a generic branding questionnaire.

Finding your voice and knowing how to articulate who you are and what you do starts with being witnessed by someone who can SEE YOU and the magic you create.

Before you rely on AI (or another “foolproof generic marketing plan”) for anything, you’ve got to start with you.

And, if you need someone to see you and the nuances of your work, who can also articulate your most sacred vision through deep listening, interpretation, and writing your brand’s story, I’m here. (no question packets required)
